A couple of things I forgot about Seattle:

Woke up on Monday with the realization that there would be no show that night and that The Tickets were no longer travelling with us. The only consolation would be little tiny donuts at Pike Place Market.

Woke up early Sunday in Portland, OR. Hit Starbucks and got on the road. Stopped along the way to take in a few sights.

Yesterday we woke up early, packed and drove to Portland, OR. Our partners and travel and crime were letters_to_ed and C. Of course, there was A Show, but we arrived around noon and had all afternoon to do stuff.

Yesterday was Moose Day. Don't ask, just accept that it's a fantastic holiday that you didn't celebrate.

I remembered underwear this time. I also packed all of my 3oz toiletries in a ziplock baggie. Shampoo, conditioned, body wash, toothpaste. But I forgot a toothbrush. *sigh*

Okay, so I've made it through 4 disks of season one so far and well, I think I'll continue. I have to agree with peachespig, Logan is probably my favorite character now. Is he good? Is he bad? Do I hate him? Do I like him? Such a minx.

But I have to say, the show's creators must have some deep-seated mother issues.

My mother called yesterday and, despite knowing little about technology, managed to trip up some setting on my cell's voicemail that marked her call urgent. Turns out that my grandfather is in the hospital and not doing so well.
