She looks a little bigger, but I never thought to measure her.  She went straight to the pond.  OH my!  Didn't see her anymore today.

I measured her today 7-9-2013 and her top shell is 7 1/4" from side to side and 6 3/4 front to back.

JAPANESE DOLL on EBAY

We have had an unusual Fall here in the East, snow in some places on Halloween, but now it has made a nice turn around.  This is the first time in a long time, I have been able to cut up the dry leaves, instead of having them get wet and heavy.

Scary, we had one yesterday, here on the East Coast, the whole house shook and rattled...turns out to have been a 5.8 with the epicenter in Virginia.

The second one I have experienced. I guess the older you are, the more things you do get to experience, but that was NOT on my bucket list. WOW!

I finally put some eyelashes on her and changed her eyes and wig.  Not sure if this will be her final look, but she is CUTE!

I made this video the other day when I found this moth on the bricks on the side of the house.  It was quivering.  It later flew away up into the trees.  It was great to see it and capture it on video for a fleeting moment.  :  )

They are absolutely a beautiful insect, with transparent wings.

My little girl is out of layaway, although I have had her in my possession I never feel like the dolls are really mine to show off or introduce, until PAID for...I did use her for my Avatar on my Facebook page, though. :) So that happened this morning. Thanks to Maria!
