Title: "Transformation" Author:luvvycat Characters: James Norrington, Weatherby Swann, Elizabeth Swann Rating: G BPS Prompt: Wonder Word count: 100 Disclaimer: PotC is Disney's, not mine. *sniff*
That's a lovely description of young Elizabeth, and of course James would be instantly smitten. A wonderful holiday scene brought to life in a hundred words. Brilliant, as always.
It was fun, showing the transformed Elizabeth through James' love-struck eyes. Clearly, behind that cool Norrington exterior beats the heart of a romantic! ;-)
and of course James would be instantly smitten.
And, no doubt, shocked down to his impeccably-polished boots to discover the little girl he'd known had grown into such a fine and lovely young woman while he'd been away!
A wonderful holiday scene brought to life in a hundred words. Brilliant, as always.
And, as always, you're very kind to say so! In truth, I've had something like this drabble in mind for a while; I guess I was just waiting for the right prompt to trigger the proper "inspiration". (And thank you so much for providing it!) ;-)
Again, thank you so much for reading, and for your heart-warming Comments! There's no better holiday gift than that! :-)
Ah, yes ... poor, star-crossed James! *sniffle* If he only knew then that no happy future with Elizabeth awaited him, it might have saved him a ton of grief. (Darn T&T, for making him suffer so!)
Fantastic drabble! ♥
I'm so happy you think so! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and were moved to Comment! :-)

Elizabeth grown into a vision of loveliness and James like a moth to her flame.
And a very surprised and lovestruck moth at that! Poor James. He had no idea then what the future (and T&T) had in store for him! ;-)
Thank you so much for reading, and for your quite lovely Comments! :-)
