Vacation was AMAZING. More on that tomorrow. I have to go to bed. Still totally exhausted from the past five days + getting in at 3 AM yesterday then having to get up for work at 7 AM. Painful!

I had the most frustrating discussion with a Time Warner Cable rep over the phone tonight. My bill kept going up and up without any explanation; the rep explained that apparently we signed up for a higher DSL speed on promotion and that the promotion had ended. Um, so since when did J.Crew start selling $325 boots? I know they started introducing "collection" pieces last year that were roughly $1,000, (and I thought that was pretty crazy ... I wonder how well that sold!) but seriously, I'd much rather be spending just slightly more than $325 on Miu Miu, not J.Crew.

Just got back from Miami the other day. It was a lot of fun, but so completely surreal. It's like Disneyland for adults. Also, our sales director always likes to use the term "light and tight" in reference to the way most women dress in the US, and it's absolutely true of Miami! I am so sick of tent dresses it's not even funny. Especially ones worn with wool tights and chunky, wooden, open-toed sandals. It's not really a good look so much as it's an excuse for girls to be schlumpy. Don't they realize they're wearing glorified moomoos? When can we bring back the polish, please?!
