Howdy, I saw your comments on JF and thought I would see if you had any updates. Do you mind if I link other people to this post? The hysteria is ridiculous.

Oh, please do. The more people know the facts, and what's actually going on, the better. I've read reports that make it sound as if people were dying on the streets, and the whole thing is so blown out of proportion that the best thing we can do is spread the correct info.

That's a new one I haven't read. They have (had? I can't find the link) another one where a 'mexican doctor' claimed that the hospitals were full of sick people.

But yeah, I'll be writing them about their fearmongering.

Thanks! *hugs*

FEAR AND PANIC always seem to sell better than boring old science ... that'll be why I don't watch tv news.

Me either. Which also helps to prove how stupid this whole 'Mexico closed due to epidemic' is. I didn't even know there was an epidemic until this Friday! And even now, we dont' see anything that it's supposedly happening RIGHT NOW all over the city.

Meh. That's why I prefer sparlky boys.

I haven't been paying attention to news of the "outbreak", but it doesn't surprise me at all that it's been misconstrued/blown out of proportion.

Nah, it's ok. BTW, it was not a group of Jews the ones who said that about the "Mexican" flu. It was ONE jew. Unfortunately, it was a Israel Health Official, but it was only him
