( Two months after the deaths, after they go back to pretending like life is normal, Jeremy gets sick. Ric has never known how to be a father; never read any of the books. And yet, somehow he ends up as the father to a rag tag gang of teenage heroes; somehow he ends up as the legal guardian to two children, a head strong daughter even more beautiful than her mother and one very sick son, feverish and calling out the names of ghosts of the past. )

I love how you mix all the supernatural with everyday life and how you point out all the absurd things in Alaric's life. I'm looking forward to the next chapter :).

was pure evil ;). Poor Rick, he can't resist being a history teacher even when he trains one of his padawans to fight the forces of darkness.

srsly, i can just see him being like, with a knife, whittling [however it is that one whittles] chatting about Stalin and Khrushchev and Matt just kind of nodding, but then seriously doing awesome on his next exam.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter :).

Left a comment on the TVD free for all comment ficathon but loved it so much. Maybe the end shuld have Alaric really old dying? Or maybe a baby is born ya cause I like fluff lol

I love this entire fic start to finish but most especially the Caroline and Bonnie and Tyler and Damon paragraphs! Oh Alaric I heart him so! I can see him doing all of the above! I love all the details you put into it like the sequins on Bonnie's skirt and the mother's day picnics and the oreos for Tyler and you have a perfect last line! Great work! :)

Just stumbled upon this...and it is fantatstic! I love Papa!Alaric, you did a great job with this. It made me smile...and he's so totally Giles! :) lol just wanted to drop a note and tell you that this was fantatstic and you should do some more :D
