sometimes even the happy things in life are sad

weeeee!

feel a little less sad after running on a cool windy tucson night after the monsoon. plus now puppy time. still sad about.. all that.. though.

life has been bittersweet lately. the bitter is that my little ferret einstein has a tumor and it could be life-threatening. the biopsy results come in tomorrow, so i am really hoping that it is benign and can be removed without emptying my savings account ( Read more... )

an inch of nothing for your soul.

Einstein, one of my two ferrets, rapidly developed a tumor over the past couple days. It's on his neck near his throat, and it's about half the size of his head. He is not eating and drinking only a little. I made an appointment to take him to the ferret specialist vet, but the earliest they can see him is Wednesday. but i really don't want to. maybe i'll just go see a movie. tokyo! or wolverine? choices.

though i won't be going to the far east this summer, i should still get a good amount of traveling in my system.
