I love this so much! I seriously think it is my favourite Bret/Jemaine fic I've read so far. So charming and sweet and entirely in character. It's the little details that got me -

Mel fangirling over other things, eg. Lost = genius - why did I not think of that before?

Bret throwing up the penny and catching it - I was picturing that in my head before I read it. It's just such a Bret thing to do!

But my favourite part was Bret hesitating as to whether it would be proper or not to allow Jemaine to take him back to HIS OWN FLAT. Bless him.
