That was so cute and so THEM! I can imagine the guys being very hard to write, but you totally rocked it. :D It's full of squishy fantastic goodness! I think it's called fluff, actually, but it so works for me.

I do have a nitpick, but just one. In the first section you mention Jemaine being worried about bumping the neck of his guitar. He plays bass, and for the bassists in the group just say the neck of his bass. I'm a bass player, too, so that's why it jumped out at me. I realize it's a nitpick, as I said, but they are different. The quick history is that electric basses came from bass viols (think of the orchestra instrument) that were often used in jazz and dance bands, so while the electric version looks like a guitar, it isn't.

Anyhow, loved this fic. :D [And Dave's shirt was absolutely perfect, too. Deliciously naughty; deliciously Dave.]

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, because it was a lot of fun to write. And I changed it to say bass instead! The kicker is I knew the difference, but sometimes these things sort of go under the radar, so thanks for pointing it out!

The shirt kills me, too. I saw a guy wearing one and knew immediately it would be a Dave sort of shirt.

Awww!!! This is fantastic, I didn't expect to find such great fics for FotC. It's so in-character I found myself kind of... overwhelmed with glee. It's awkward, but in a good way, just like the show. Haha, and I love Bret asking Jemaine's advice on what shirt to wear, because that's what he'd be doing if it was someone else, and he's so used to it. And the kiss, awww! And how Jemaine was observing Bret's "dating policies." I wish I could be coherent, but... I just really really liked it, and it's pretty much replaced canon in my head. I can live a life of denialpretend, right?
