I've had joint insurance with all my housemates in the past.

Oooo good.
Which companies have you used? If i took it out in my name, i'm not sure if i would need to add Aislinn and Jemma as 'Joint policy holders'. Bah, so confusing!

I use an insurance broker, my current policy is with Royal Sun Alliance though. I always phone up as I don't understand the intricacies of insurance!

Like Jen said, I have joint contents insurance with Tom, through natwest.
I would reccomend using whoever you have car insurance through if you have car insurance as they normally offer a discount.
Or try www.confused.com

Its in my name, rather then a joint account, but I think I said "my mate tom" and so they added him and his contents.
