My hair is so fucked from all the bleaching and straightening. It looks so unhealthy and i have so many snapped strands of hair. I have strips of hair that are about four inches shorter than the rest of it because the ends have snapped off.  I'm thinking of dying it all one colour to give the hair a chance to recouperate! I'm probably too old to

I try to only straighten my hair once a week because I got scared about how much damage it was doing, even with all the products I use.

I think the bleached bits would be brighter too.

I straighten mine everytime i wash it :S Which is usually everyday or every other day :S I know it's not helping but i'm so used to seeing my hair straight now and none frizzy that i hate seeing it unstraightened!

I may just have to dye my hair dark brown first, then!

Aww, but your pink hair is gorgeous! Hehe. But yeah, can see what you're saying about maybe giving it time to recover. I'd still say go for a fairly vibrant colour, it really suits you, and you can never be too old to be cool ;) x

Awwww thanks :) Yea, i want to do it a nice darky red colour or something, i just want to stop with the bleach for a while and see how it fairs!

hey, you are never too old for pink hair! i am in talks with the boss about dying mine purple, lol :) those schwarzkopf live ones are bloody brilliant, i used to use red night before i came to uni and simon uses violent violet or something, really cool!

And it doesnt matter if you have the figure of kate moss or roseanne, BOOBS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! ;)

This is true about the boobs! :D I've always wanted to try those live colours. I think i would have to use two boxes on my hair!
I quite like the look of the reddy one so i might go and have a mooch about in my lunch hour and have a think!
You should tell you're boss you will work more effectively with purple hair because you will feel cheerier...or something :P

Too right on the age thing and the boobs thing. So long as it's done with style, there's nothing wrong with dyed hair, whatever the age...

The bleached streaks will stay lighter unless you go over everything in a dark colour and they still may stick out if you bleach back over due to the piles of chemical colouring. It's like when you're a kid and you colour things in then got one of those magic white pens and everything changed a random colour.

You may - may - have some luck seperating out the natural hairs and bleaching only them. You'll probably need a hand and it'll still be a bit uneven. A salon is your best bet but it'll take a while and cost a fair bit.

Personally with your length of hair I wouldn't take any more risks, I can get away with a lot of abuse because mine is short. Hey, at least you're not 1/3rd grey already!

I'll be really interested to know how you get on with this splint thing. One of my friends seems to have a fairly similar problem and I'd like to be able to give her some advice
