A new life?
So, on April 20th I was laid off from the University after 23 years of working there. I was given six weeks notice so I thought that I would have no problem finding another job in the system. WRONG! I entered a contest in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Bolz Conservatory -- the indoor part of Madison's Olbrich Botanical Garden. I got honorable mention and my photo will be one of thirty displayed in their gallery Nov-Dec of this year!

Weight loss and Shelby video
Ihave some big news on the personal front. Five and a half years ago I had gastric bypass surgery due to morbid obesity that caused several health problems.
