So my knee is progressing exceptionally well. I have a bend angle of 110 degrees, my physio says that is exceptional for 5 weeks after the op :D I am agood girl and do all my exercises.... 6 times a day like he said :D So now I have a new set of exercises, all of which are a lot harder and designed to get me walking up and down stairs normally as ( Read more... )

There is nothing like your annual cancer check to bring home the speed at which time passes. Well I had a mammogram this time and everything is fine I am pleased to report, though they had to repeat the x-ray and compare it to the last one, which was a little worrying for a while; you can't help it you just do think the worst! Well it's done! and I can hardly believe it. My viva was at 9.30 this morning and by noon I knew I was a Dr. The viva itself was actually really great, both examiners liked it ans we had a great discussion about it.

Chris came up and joined us; the department that is, for champagne and cake.

I am still in a state of disbelief, but this morning at 10.00 I submitted my doctoral thesis! I'm utterly exhausted,but it's done! The date for my defense is 16th January, but to be honest it's the handing in of the thesis that's the huge one. Now it's allover bar the shouting ( Read more... )
