30 Rock got 22 nominations for the Emmys!! Woot!! I'm just so glad some new people like Jane and Jack got some love this year. They absolutely deserve the recognition just as much as Tina and Alec do, in my opinion.

That was so cute! I loved the subtle Jack/Liz progression and how we didn't know for sure that they were together until the very end.

Thank you so much! I really liked the idea of taking a point once a year and showing how their relationship progressed just by referencing that one day over several years. I'm glad I pulled it off. :)

I just thought of something: didn't Liz threaten the writers to cut them with her Emmy if they didn't find her sandwich? So doesn't she have an Emmy? You're right, that WOULD be an awesome episode!

Yeah, I think she does have an Emmy. There was that episode, and then in "Blind Date" when the writers and Jack have their poker game, Frank bets and loses Liz's Emmy, so she comes into work one day and says "Where's my Emmy?" I don't know how she got that Emmy, but I was always under the impression that it was for some work she did before TGS.

Hee hee hee. ;) I couldn't go through 5 years of Jack's and Liz's relationship and NOT have them together by the end! That would be a travesty. (Although not really, but you know what I mean. I just couldn't resist the temptation to get them together.) Thanks so much for reading! I'm glad you liked it.

What a great fic! It's my first 30 Rock fic, and I enjoyed it. The characters voices felt very true, and I liked the progression over the years.

Wow, thank you so much! I'm really glad that you feel that I got the voices true to the characters. As a writer, that's probably my biggest concern, that I won't do justice to the characters and that I'll get them wrong.

I'm honored to have been the first 30 Rock fic you read. You should definitely look around 30rockfanfic, 30_rock, and jack_liz if you're interested in reading more. There's tons of good fic out there. A couple of my favorite authors are grenyarnia, michellek, and lz1982 if you're looking for recommendations, but there are really a lot of fabulous authors out there for this fandom.
