Both cats are doing wind sprints in the living room. This is somewhat aggravating for them, because our living room has hardwood floors, and their little feetses just can't get good traction on that sort of flooring, even with claws. This means that we can hear scrabbling claws for a couple of seconds before we hear a cat run. It's even funnier ( Read more... )

"and then put in a does of Cupid's Arrow (gets them In The Mood)."
I found that absolutely hilarious!

That's why I can't have a tank of Sea Monkeys, though... I'd be too concerned with who was boinking who and I would never get any work done.

Eh, you just have to look at the tank every now and then, as they get in clinches that will last for literally DAYS. I know that in my tank, any pair is likely to consist of the Horndog clinching either Big Mama or the Pale Frail (she's translucent, and has almost no coloration at all).

Googling "Sea Monkey" will turn up all sorts of personal pages dedicated to the care and feeding of these little shrimp. And I do mean little...the biggest are only about half an inch long when fully grown. They're a very low-maintenance sort of pet, and very, very quiet.

Cats are such attention whores, eh? But thank goodness they are because I lurrrve waking up in the middle of the night to the Twins walking all over me. Eventually they settle down and warm me up, so it saves in heating.

Petruchio comes running to Chandra whenever she's in the bathroom. Don't know why, and even if I spoke cat, I'm not sure I'd want to know. (Katherina, on the other hand, simply waits until I exit the shower, and then jumps into the tub to lap all the water off of the walls. Once again, I don't wanna know why.)

I'd love to have wooden floors so as to watch the cats try to catch hold and stop. Sliding cats crack my stuff up.
