Tonight on our local news there was a recall for Peter Pan Peanut Butter and Great Value (Wal-Mart Brand)that starts off with the numbers of "2111." If you have these jars in your home throw them out or get a refund. People have been getting sick from eating this stuff. We had a jar in my house but I've already thrown it out. Maw-maw said last night people have been complaining about being sick for a few months now. I wonder if that is part of the cause of that "virus" everyone thought was going around.

I don't know. It could be what caused our stomach problems in December. We bought a huge jar of JIF before I bought the recent jar of Peter Pan (we just buy what's on sale usually).

We are the same way. That stuff costs too much.

I'm just thankful none of us or anyone else we know has gotten sick from the latest batch of peanut butter we've bought. There were lots of people in December with a stomach virus.
