Things have been going pretty well so far. Ben and I have the majority of our apartment complete with the exception of a TV. Our furniture is still pointing to a blank spot that now has two speakers up for the surround sound but no TV. It's expensive, we don't watch it too much, so the wait isn't so bad. Driving in Florida is very interesting... it seems to take a lot of patience as well as a fear of other drivers. In Michigan most people like to keep a safe distance between their car and the one in front of them. This isn't always the case of course but generally, that's what people do. Ben and I were SOOOO excited to finally get our internet this weekend. :) And things are coming along really well now. We are SLOWLY getting what we need. First, we bought a desk since we had so much in our bedroom that needed it. Then we began a hunt for hangers so that we could finally unpack our clothes... My parents left today... I was trying to convince myself to not cry until after I got back to the hotel but nope, I was crying as soon as they got out of the car. It'll be weird seeing as how I've never been more than a few hours drive away from them. It's only a few hours flight but still, it's not as easy anymore. We arrived in Orlando Thursday night. We have a nice hotel too right in the middle of tourist Orlando. Driving down here wasn't that bad. The first day went by quickly and the second day took a bit longer but that was probably because I was so anxious to get here. I will be doing lots of driving today... I'm in Mt. Pleasant at the moment for an appt at 4p so I'm hanging out at the library. Then I have a long drive back to home... 2.5 hours. woot.
