Wishing you the best of luck! I should probably look into recovery items as well since I'm still sore in some places. You'll notice your endurance getting better each day. Can't wait to read more about your workouts!

Recovery drinks don't have to be expensive. The cheapest way to go is the powders. You can always add milk if you don't wish to use water. You can usually look at Wal-Mart, Target, and other similar places for a few varieties of stuff. Usually a brand like "Pure Protein" is sold at those places and those are just as good.

Drinking such within 5-30 minutes after a work out will greatly help reduce your muscles from being sore/fatigued. Just be sure to read the nutritional info. Not all are the same (some have higher cholestrol than others, for example).
