Paranoia, the birth of all religions. Is that a normal thing for women to go through when pregs? I assume it is on a certain psychological level considering there’s a different person growing inside you. At what point does it get worst or better? It sounds magical.
Yup, pretty normal. The way my therapist explained it to me last time was that your mind is trying to figure out how to cope with the fact that you are creating a person that you are biologically programmed to value more than yourself. It's a weird thing to do, and it's hard to come to terms with. Gives you funky dreams, too.
Oh yes, the whole process is quite magical. Imagine having a parasite in your abdomen that not only continues to grow larger over time, but that you actively work to protect and nurture. Bizarre. :)
