Here ends the tale of my travels in Brazil. I now return you to your regularly scheduled journal. I returned to Seattle last night after several largely uneventfull flights. I'll make a longer post later, today I'm just enjoying being home with Joe.

This is going to be a long one! I’m sorry that I didn’t get to update last night with just two days, but our internet went down. Today Lisa and I took possesion of "The American Box" which is a collection of items that have been left by previous patients of Lisa's doctor for use by future Americans. Some kind and wonderfull soul left a package of Oreos!! Yay Oreos! I'll be replacing them with M&Ms for future people ;-)

Last night wasn’t so good. I had a bit of a meltdown with missing Joe and couldn’t sleep. Finally I got out of bed and pinged him on IM. I felt a lot better after talking with him and a bit sheepish about the meltdown. I miss him so much ( Read more... )

I've posted probably more total words in the last week than previously posted in the last six months so I've been surprised that hardly anyone is commenting.
