I liked the way you personalised your reaction here. And how you talked about how the results affects other people you know. I think I live with too much privilege to be too badly affected myself, but I've been getting emotional for my friends who don't have the same privileges I do.

Agree with the eloquence. You ARE strong, competent, determined, and loyal. It can be hard to convince ourselves that we are, but we always have to always believe it because it's the truth : )

I understand why that span across days could change you so much-- especially when you work daily with people who will be affected by what seems a careless choice on the part of so many voters.

I, too, am worried-- for all of us in general who are not the 1-percenters, and for many groups of people in particular. :(

I work with a lot of kids who are Hispanic. All of them are legal citizens, though I cannot be sure of their parents. The kids are terrified, and it breaks my heart.
