"You kind of sound like a YouTube troll." *dies laughing*

When my little brother was about four years old, he had a speech impediment. All his "tr"s came out as "f"s. Which was especially troublesome because he really liked trucks.

Ooh, man, I knew a boy with that problem (although I was too young to really remember it). Dump trucks were especially fun; he dropped the "p."

*hugs*

Oh, I take 'em to see their great-grandma whenever I can, and gay wouldn't freak her out; she's easily the most liberal person in her residence. I'm more worried about the other seniors. One of many reasons she likes to see the kids is because twins seem to be instant celebrities, especially if you bring them into the room with a bunch of grandmothers and middle-aged nurses, so we always hang out in the common rooms. Could get awkward . . .

But, honestly, probably not. My kids seem to be naturally sociable, and my little boy-there's no other way to put this-flirts with the nurses. I mean, he gives them the most ridiculous little coy smiles while looking through his eyelashes, and eats up the attention with a spoon-it's hilarious. And charming. And perhaps slightly worrying, because when they get older and learn to control the effect, they're both going to use it to get away with EVERYTHING.

That is awesome, but yes...would not want to make things...awkward for others. *Grins* Still - he's clever and will win them over with his own collection of fantastic baby-sounds and he and his sister will coast on extra cuddles and love. Glad to hear she is as awesome as my grandma was!

LOL!! Little boys! They're charmers. Mine have managed to make the whole freaking area around here spoil them terribly. OMG. And they did it JUST. LIKE. THAT. I want pictures.

How do you know he has not learned the Power of Lashes and Coy Smiles and How To Use These Things To Your Advantage already? Sounds like he has this downpat!

But yes...it does get worse. And if you think HE'S charming. Anywhere he goofs, his sister will excel. And FAST. Bet she is tallying numbers and taking notes right now. SHE'S the one you gotta worry about. *CACKLES*

*Squishes all three of you and sends love to hubby and grandma*

Just wait until until they have to get to grips the word 'fork' - the 'r's are difficult to pronounce...

Also, as scionofgrace pointed out, "truck." That "tr" combination tends to become an "f" . . .
