Remember when Criminal Minds used to be perfection?

Okay, Criminal Minds just utterly frustrates me nowadays. Not only have the cases been particularly what-the-fuck lately, but the episodes are so full of missed opportunities that I want to scream. Last night's episode was especially depressing in that respect.

Sigh. I feel like they are groping in the dark for new unsubs that seem interesting. Besides that, why couldn't we get the girls night out on salsa?

And total head canon - JJ and Emily get back to her place, Spencer goes into panic mode, JJ sends him home and gets into bed with Emily (WHERE IS THIS FIC)

Ausiello: There will be a marriage proposal in an upcoming episode, and it does not go well. Not well at all. And look for the show to revisit the disappearance of Morgan’s cousin in a major way this spring (and for The Wire‘s Chad Coleman to be connected to the case in a potentially significant capacity.)

*cough* Will proposing? *cough*

Maybe if Will proposes (and JJ says no since it looks like that), Emily will finally come out and say NO JJ don't marry the crawfish! And they swoop in and kiss each other in the bullpen or whereever.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed someone writes that fic, because OMG IT NEEDS TO BE DONE.

As for the proposal, I'm 99.999% certain it's Garcia and Kevin. I would love it to be Will and JJ, JJ finally kicking him to the curb, because she's so very in love with Emily and they're going to move in together and take care of Henry without Will around. Yes.

I can't believe I'm almost too tired to even write a comment, but I had to say this: This episode was a huge resounding "Yes, yes, come on, almost.... Almost there! D'oh!"

Seriously. But it's probably that they couldn't show any footage of the ladies' night because it was Emily and JJ making out on the dance floor most of the night.

I read a spoiler about the lack of ladies' night footage, so I'd already gone through the five stages of disappointment by the time I'd seen the episode, not so for the lack of Reid-Henry shenanigans.

The plane scene between Emily, JJ and Reid was very cute and our girls were very obvious. If Reid hadn't known before, he sure does now, what with the sleepover and all.

It's good to know that ladies' nights continue but we deserve to see actual footage; unless, of course, they just want to show us JJ and Em date night footage instead.

I was, surprisingly, un-spoiled, so it was all a huge disappointment in the end! But, like I mentioned somewhere, they probably couldn't show any footage because it was all Emily and JJ making out on the dance floor.

They do need to show something at least by the end of the season, because after that, it'll all be over. *tear*
