A) My OTP: After some deliberation, I'm going with Apollo/Ema. There needs to be more eligible females in the Apollo arc who aren't related to him. I think they go together well, and their personalities actually work pretty well together! Not implying that they're both kind of party poopers at times, NOT AT ALL. But yes, shared grumping, and mutual passion along with similar goals and even though AJ!Ema's got a bit of that attitude on her (which I love, tbh, although I didn't at first), I can honestly seem them working out together well in a long-term relationship while keeping things exciting ( ... )

A) My OTP:
As much as I geek out about Franziska/Apollo and Franziska/Klavier and Franziska/Phoenix and a whole myriad of other things, I don't think a suitable partner for Franziska really exists in canon. I wish we'd seen more of Lang and her interactions with her, because it's interesting that she seems to actually respect her Interpol colleagues far more than those back at the Prosecutor's office, or of course, her subordinates. This may be because I kind of want to see Franziska get a job with Interpol or something as I honestly think it suits her a lot better - if they want to give Franziska some actual canon development if she ever appears in the series again, I want her to explore why she's in the career path she is and moving from it. I kind of wish Edgeworth had let her on to go forge her own destiny at the end of JFA, but that's neither ( ... )

Okay, I don't really know what counts as a popular fannish opinion when it comes to Franziska but! Let me put it this way: I don't think she hates Edgeworth. I don't think she loves (in a romantic/sexual manner, at least) him either. She might confuse her feelings for either of those two things, though, because she's never had to deal with actually caring for another person before -- well, apart from her father, and she worshipped the ground he stood on, so that's different. I think she truly does regard him as a little brother, but she has such a little sister complex around him that it's not even funny. I have a feeling that she wouldn't have been as interested (I mean, Manfred would still want to raise her as a prosecutor, once he'd realised her potential -- then again, I doubt her elder sister was raised in the same manner?) in being a prosecutor if Miles hadn't been training to do so as well, and it's just...classic. I'm going to go with Mitsuru/Akihiko, even though I can't see it working out in the long term. (Um, I'll expand on this in E, I swear!) I'd like to think from the canon source that it's pretty obvious they care very deeply about each other, and I'd like to think that can be translatable into love. Why, yeah, Mitsuru may deny it when she's asked outright about it, but it's obvious that she's dwelling on him and him growing up, and just because she's not sure what to make of it at that moment doesn't mean that it's impossible or even improbable. (Incidentally, when was our Mitsuru/Akihiko thread set? Because that could change some things, depending.)
B) The runner up:
Mitsuru/Yukari or Mitsuru/Minato. Because...pretty much after the school trip in November, the Mitsuru/Yukari subtext comes out in full force. "Come on, Mitsuru-senpai! Zombies attack the school
For some unfathomable reason, you're trapped within the boundaries of the school. Maybe we got locked down, maybe the school at some point had stupidly installed fire doors at all points in the building and you simply can't get out.
What weapons do you use? What factions can you imagine the student and teacher body splitting up into? Etc, etc...
