our housemate ceelove was very into the local music scene, but she's now great with child and, you know, moving kind of slowly. but some other of our friends are also. i shall scheme to introduce you.

It's great that you commented because I was talking to Tali the other day about my folk music companionship frustrations and I told her that if you lived on the same side of the state with me, I'd probably try to hang out with you nearly every weekend!

I wish I heard as much live music as you. You've probably heard as much in the last two weeks as I have in the last two months, unless you count my own playing, and I wouldn't encourage that. The music is here in the valley. Its the time and the money that I am reluctant to spend.

Which is silly.

The money is kind of an issue, although the fact that there's at least one place around here that doesn't charge anything to go in is a big help.

I'm fortunate enought to have come upon employment that allows me a certain amount of disposable income, but what it really comes down to is that I'd probably spend all of my money to do this even if I had barely enough food to eat.

more than a few hours notice is usually good for me ;) I like folk music and may be persuaded to go to the occassional dance performance.
