October Lone Protest

Went lone protesting with alextiefling yesterday. Was a super evening, lots of humour and some seriousness too. Get this, one person I talked too had trouble getting her protest authorised. Sorry I had to miss it but - wow! Bureaucratic idiocy or what?? Why should something not being a word invalidate a protest?

The mind indeed boggles. We have an arabic speaker at work, maybe I'll get them to write me a placard in arabic. Tho I spose the application has to be in english, probably I could include an arabic name which might confuse them :)

Yus, I wonder if they have non-english SOCPA forms... tis a bit unfair if they don't. Maybe that's part of their plan, to restrict the number of protests by only allowing english speaking protesters, heh!
