Uni resumes in three days and I've been numbing my skull with early study. The set text for my final (yay) politics unit is called 'From Colony to Superpower: U.S. Foreign Relations since 1776' and has a mammoth 1046 pages in size 8 type. At roughly 600 words per page this equates to 635,968 words to be devoured between now and tutes in week two. ( Read more... )

Beauty and the Beast and The Rescuers. These were two of my favourite Disney movies as a child. In Grade One my friends and I would re-enact scenes from Beauty and the Beast with the enthusiasm expected of six-year olds. I would always insist upon being the Beast.

So I'm back from Sorrento. I've decided that when I retire I want to live on the Mornington Peninsula because that seems to be the thing to do. Honestly, about 65% of the population out there are over 55. Anyway, the place we stayed at was gorgeous (go me, that place took me hours to find online).
