I hear the term "rebound" all the time, but I still don't exactly understand what it is. I mean, I do in theory, but it seems sort of... icky/invalidating.

Then again, maybe I shouldn't make judgment calls on icky in this particular post. heh.

But yeah... I don't really know what it's like to be on the other side of the fence since I usually push people away instead of getting close to them. I guess it would feel invalidating, but then I don't know why someone would knowingly step into anything (excluding a fling) with someone who's a few days out of serious relationship.

Maybe I should accept that life will never make sense to me.
