Yes, as you could imagine, by the title.. I'm nearly into my 39th week of pregnancy. Boy is it tough now. My knees look arthritic, I have a short energy spurt, then a decline for a day to follow. So, I'm exactly 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant. SO, literally I have about 39 (possible a few more) days left in this long haul. haha. And looking back on it, with all minor issues aside, I've had a really swell pregnancy (I think it's a little ironic that I came up with "swell" as I swell up every night like a watermelon!) After chasing around my doctor's office phone, I finally was able to re-schedule for an appointment I had two weeks ago that was cancelled (by them!). They simply forgot to call like they promised to re-schedule, so I played phone tag with them.. (not fun). So it is today, in an hour actually. Sept. 29th... yay?
I used to get so excited about the end of September, having been in school for a month, having nice new fall clothes, homework.. things like that. But now, it's difficult to get excited about one month closing and another nearly open, though I love October for all it's many rich traditions like Thanksgiving and Hallowe'en, but I think I covered ( Read more... ) -
Fall is here! / Baby Name (official!)
The title won't have much to do with this post, but for the record, Fall is my favorite season, it's so romantic and symbolic to me, and I adore it because it gets colder but not too cold, you need sweaters and gloves, but not necessarily down jackets, and Hallowe'en of course! Anyway, that's my penny's thoughts on Fall.

Flabbergasted!
This week has been a strange one for me.. only because I was proven wrong about something, and we all know how I loathe that! haha. Wow, been a while.. the countdown is now officially on (for me anyways...) I am 31 weeks and 1 day. Pregnancies normally go between 41-42 weeks. So.. as you can see, it's two months and counting. As much as I believe I should be dreading labour and planning every drug available to me to be present, I just don't want them. As much as my family says ( Read more... ) -

The one week stretch...
Actually, that title is quite literal, I truly mean stretch. As in my stomach is stretching and expanding at lightning speed. I guess the licky stars I thanked for not being huge weren't so lucky. But that's ok, as my baby seems to be more of a reality to me, due to the ultrasound, I really don't mind growing exponentially.
