You can ALWAYS call me. That was one of the lessons you taught me.
Last night, I put the kids to bed, Chad watched a Laker Game, and when I went to LJ for some of the same reasons, I, too, got a call out of the blue. This one was from a neighbor to whom I had apparently given too much credit. So, I talked her down a bit, silently questioned everything she ever told me, then called a hotline for meth addicts to see if I could get any information for her. Funny, I don't think she'll take it anyway. There is this little thing called wanting to change.
The moral of my story was that a call from you would have helped me to let go of the kitten I was trying to rescue--the kitten that apparently is slowly suicidal anyway.
What if I promise to tell you if it's not really a good time? Will you call me then?
Anyway, I'm sorry you were bored. I'm here for you when it happens again.
Love you both very much,
Kimberly
