We decided to climb Lads Law, Boulsworth hill (aka g/sp008) I took Olivia and she did really well but we where about 1/4 an hour from the summit when the snow set in, here are a load of snaps from on the way

Contact made on G/SP012 1/1 barely audiable but still contact

My FT51R Died, and until I can afford to replace it I've gone for 2 opened out PMR Style handies, one being an 70cm Jintong the other a 2m FDC the FDC seems fine, but 70cm has been dead here so no chance to test that I am afraid, but for £40 for the pair.. can't fault it must get a earthstation

Okies, been there done that and the first aiding ;) bought a duplexer that I am now a bit concerned with its a HF split and VHF split going to have to see if it works also got a ZL special yagi beam with 7 elements for a special price (well discounted b4 I started ( Read more... )

there seems to be a fair few activators today first one was M1YAM on Ingleborough Fell :)

Another sota activation chased, thats a little further, still on the low antenna.

well it withstood the winds :)
