Wow. You are one amazingly talented vid creator/editor. That's a frakload of clips and effects right there.

What a wonderful commentary too. I think it's pretty common to have big creative ideas and often it's difficult or impossible to see them become reality, to get the vision in your head out and onto your medium. I'm really pleased for you. This must have been such a relief and pleasure to finish.

It's so dense and chewy, like a really good fudge brownie! There's so much here it's hard to choose what to single out but I really loved the sequence at the 4-min mark where Kara and Lee's faces are frozen with all the images flickering behind/between them. That was so lovely. And how great was the ending with Aurora/deleted brig scene. It was good timing that those came out when they did!

Kudos to you!

Thank you :D

This was a hard vid to put together. Lee and Kara are insanely complex to make a character study video for each of them on their own, but when they're together it's like you find yourself drawn into a thermonuclear reaction - their need for each other, their frustrations, love, rage, hatred, mutual support altogether as a tangle of relationship is a great challenge to explore. Especially when you're trying to channel and convey everything as a whole, not just several aspects. I had to absorb it all and sort of live through every frakked up decision and memory before and during the work. I'm glad you can see this maelstrom of contradictory actions and emotions, even more so if you see both of Lee and Kara's reasonings of choices - it means the work I put into the vid is totally worth it.

This must have been such a relief and pleasure to finish.Oh, you have no idea! :)) Emotionally - I'm like a squeezed lemon, but other ( ... )

I left a comment on youtube, but I thought I'd leave one here too. I thought you did a great job capturing the intensity of their relationship. The editing was pretty impressive and kept things moving along for six minutes, which I would normally think is too long for a fanvid. Great work. :)

Thank you for your feedback! :) When I started working on this video I thought I was gonna cut the song and make it about 4 minutes long, because usually it's nearly impossible to keep the viewer focused for more than five minutes with such tempo, but the music, sense of imagery flow and the composition itself didn't let me do that.

Well it worked out just great with the full song. Your editing made it that way, so well done, once again. :)

This is definitely one of the best (if not the best) Kara/Lee video I have ever seen. You did an excellent job of seeming their story to the song.Oh thank you! :D I love the song, it screamed Pilots to me from the get-go, from the moment I heard those percussion instruments nailing "Times when I just can't - bring myself to say it loud..." The lyrics help so much, they sort of lead you through the story, the first sentence already makes you wonder "Why" - and then you just flow with it - naming all the obvious and subtle reasons... I just love it. Why? - was the exact question I asked myself when I watched the miniseries for the first time. And I think for many viewers it was similar. The brig scene and hangar bay scene made me wonder WHY are you arguing, and then WHY aren't you allowing yourself to make the same thing you do with your eyes to each other - instead you're just falling in each other's eyes stretching the time, why don't you embrace each other after he nearly died, why this artificial distance that obviously makes you ( ... )
