the circle

I finally made it to the drum circle tonight.

It was a wonderful first time out for the cobra djembe and I.

We learned a lot.

In these strange days, of dischord and disunity,
there was beautiful, synchronious rhythm in that place...

weaving in and out of each intricate design

unique as a snowflake

pure as a prayer.

that rhythm orginates from any and every soul.
we'd all do well to get a little taste of that now and again...
especially now

I can't wait for you to get here! You know, there were dancers there, and we did some middle eastern rhythms, and they got up and danced, which reminded me of retreat a little. It was great.
