Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

1. Danny Phantom

My #1 obsession for the last five years, aside from its creator himself. I caught one of the promo commercials on Nick and decided to check it out. It was pretty cool in and of itself - but it was my crazy crossover theory that actually kept me watching. But I'm glad I did.

2. Real People fiction.

My current Danny Phantom mega crossover isn't actually my first foray into RPF, but it did get me back into it. I needed to make it RPF in order to include the 'eeevil execs' as villains/antagonists.

To reiterate, IMNSHO, people aren't real people until I've met them or been sued by them; celebs and anybody else I've only seen on TV or other media are as as much characters as those in any fiction. And just as interesting as such. I do like shipping, and I do have an RPF OTP, but honestly? INTERWEBZ NEEDZ MOAR RPF GENFIC.

3. Real fans club.

It just pisses me off that so many people still, quite astoundingly, have skewed misconceptions about this devART club. It says right there in the FAQ journal "YOU CAN STILL HATE SLASH JUST NO FLAMEBAITING". (For the record, I used to be a pretty big slash fan - but it just doesn't do anything for me anymore. Yeah, it's weird.) It's about fans coming together as fans, no modifiers, no arrogance, no holier-than-thou-ness - which is what the whole quote-unquote Fanwar was really all about: label, shun, and mock the 'nonbelievers'. That's not a war by a longshot, that's fandumb at its 'finest'.

TL;DR Do you like Danny Phantom? Are you not a vocally elitist douche? Then frikkin' JOIN!

4. DP crossovers

I <3 crossovers. Not that I hate canon - in fact, when ur doin it rite, there are a lot of things I love about the canon. Usually, though, I just prefer to go down wildly different paths than what the canon has to offer. And I like seeing other ideas people take off the beaten path, so to speak. Frankly, I think the Roger Rabbit-type setup is the most fluid and easiest to work with as far as crossovers go, but I'm often pleasantly surprised at some of the universe-colliding situations I read about.

5. Fandom wank

I'm a frequent lurker on JournalFen and while I sometimes wish I could comment, it's just so much fun reading what everyone else has to say about the fail o' the day. XD;
