I'm TA for Foundation Year Mechanical Science this year (i.e. a bridging course for students who haven't done A-level maths or science, but who want to do an engineering degree)

Congratulations to the Oxford rowing team with their victory over Cambridge in this weekend's 152th annual Boat Race on the Thames river in London :)

This was Oxford's fourth win in five years and brings the score to 78-73, with Cambridge in the lead (there was a deat heat in 1877).

My trip to South Africa has been postponed by 7 weeks :(
