Eeee, thank you!! Isn't it completely amazing? I mean, he hasn't even just painted the veins of the leaves, he's carved them and painted in the gap. You can see it in the last picture. It's effing insane. How did he do such precise work? I must ask him about his process some more. He's done a fantastic job, and then varnish on top of that. It's just-- wow.
Ooooh, yesss, yes. *nods* I've been drinking plenty, both green and black and white. With extra honey in it, for my throat. I usually don't like it too sweet, but with my sense of taste being slightly off it's been fine. The hot drink is really soothing, and today I felt good enough to run some errands.

Yesss, I love the color too. I don't know if the varnish deepened it, or if he's done something else on top of that, or if it's naturally like that... but I love it. And oh my god, the little golden veins on the leaves blow my mind the most. They're not just painted, they're carved first. It looks like a little needle scratch with paint in. How he managed that is beyond me. That's some precise handiwork, man. :D AAAH. I'm so lucky.
