What's the male version of a spinster?

Because I'm so going to end up being that. I can't date anymore. Any girl I find even moderately appealing I turn into a mess of stutters and screwed up words. I'm allowed to feel down for myself once and a while right?

A bachelor likes the position he's in though and that has more of a cheerful disposition. I'm looking for something that sounds less like I just don't want to be in a relationship.

we need to watch "debbie does dallas" together. i watched it last night with people i'm not that much friends with and it was just awkward. (not related to your post at all.)

and in reply to your post, i'm sorry. i was going to say the usual "i'm sorry i hope things work out" but that statement sounds so generic. i really do hope things get better, and being single isn't bad. it gives you more time to focus on the important things in life, like school and work. and i'll end this note on *cough cough call me to hang out cough cough*

I don't know what the male version of a spinster is, but I do know that I will consider you to be an old maid, EVEN knowing that you are totally a guy...you know why? Because I'm the sort of friend that rocks like that. yeah. you heard me. I'm awesome and will consider you to be a woman...isn't that what friendship is really all about? Call me. ~Alex (p.s. a dress would make the old maid thing a bit more believable...)
