I'm reaching a point in my career where I'm getting the chance to work with people whom I've admired for years. It's amazing, exciting and very surreal. Got home. Tried to relax. Immediately got hit with a painful tension headache. Wish I had someone here to give me a neck and shoulder rub. Sadly, my dogs don't seem to understand. They're more the "jump on the belly" type. 

I started feeling crappy this morning, and now I've gone to full-blown sick. Just in time for the weekend. I had plans to go to two different shows tonight but instead I'm going to stay in, cuddle with my dogs and watch bad horror movies until I feel better. Got a job, finally. I'll be working at a consulting firm. I was beginning to worry for a while, seein' as how the only jobs being offered to me would mean an enormous pay cut. I just won a Tivo off of a local radio station. That is teh awesome. Now I can catch every episode of House, even when I'm out of my own. House that is. Yay!

And the radio station played my request, so I got to hear "Here Comes Your Man" by the Pixies. Also awesome. Now if I could just find a decent job I'd be alllllll set.

The other night I was with a big group of people to help with an artistic endeavor (filming a shot for an independent flick) when I got to be a fairly impartial observer to male behavior.
