It's almost funny
Well, just after another member of the family's death from cancer (Fuck that disease. Fuck it good.) and with us about to go to the funeral tomorrow morning, my mum has just been admitted to hospital with SCARLET FUCKING FEVER.
Because apparently we did not have enough to deal with.

Granny
My granny died last week after being ill with renal and vulval cancer for about a year. The funeral was yesterday. I helped carry her coffin and read a poem with my sister, but it still hasn't sunk in properly. Only little things like realising she'll never pass me a humbug from the front of a car or make me soup again make me cry. -
Life & Stuff
It's been a while and a lot's changed. For one thing, I'm out of the crappy relationship I used to be in and seeing someone absolutely lovely :)
