Well I have a fantastic head smashing headache. I did nap to see if that would help it go away and it did for a bit. I believe the above sentence says it all. I am able to eat a bit more today but nothing is stopping the nausea. No vomiting just nausea. I went to the oncologists office today and got a shot which they told me will cause me pain in all of my large joints tomorrow. Oh Boy! What new fresh hell is being cooked up now? I guess the worst was yet to come. After I wrote yesterdays post and i tried to lay down for a bit to alleviate my headache. I found myself running downstairs and totally lost everything. even though I really don't want to be there bed is the best place for me right now. Well, I had chemo today; the two meds they gave me were adriamycin (red one) and cytoxin. I peed red for a few hours while I was at the oncologist. The reason is because the med that they put into my system is red like jello. It is not solid like it though, thank God! I went to see my oncologist today and he told me that I would be taking three different medications in the chemotherapy. The first is Adriamycin the second is Cytoxin and the third is Taxol. I have heard of Cytoxin and Taxol before but not the other one. I will have to go to chemo every two weeks for 4 months then radiation and lastly I will be ( Read more... )
