i'm getting really good at dodging all subjects related to my future by simply voting them out of conversation and i am going to spend today answering the phone in funny voices just incase it's the army again.

recently, i've turned this room into a one woman sweatshop; two dresses in two days and an iron fell on the floor but no one knows. yesterday i gave my two weeks (but more like a month) notice and i get trained at a new job on friday. i think i've forgotten how to read and i keep trying to remember by carrying books around the house and i pretend ( Read more... )

a run-in with the law; four girls and a dinosaur kicked off a swingset.

ahhh what a glamourous life, being the ultimate 1970s lady. meals and househunts and walks and eleven o'clock telephone talks with wonderful galpals; maybe this town isn't so awful, it just takes a keen eye and good partners in crime.

i'm loving everyday because they begin with a cup of green tea and who cares about sunburn when it's to hot to do anything but jump in pools. it's about the freedom and the small roadtrips and that adventure that didn't start until it was too dark out. the plans roll on into next week until half of us go out of state/country. while they are away i ( Read more... )
