Sunday I was feeling sick and miserable. So sick that I ended up canceling plans with an old friend of mine. Because we were in Springfield for the yearly train show and Shadow was helping Gary from TrainTek I couldn't just go home. I hung out at the booth and attempted to help as much as possible. Do you really think it was gender-based? Or did he just see everyone else doing something except you? Of course it would have been nice if he'd asked, so he's rude either way.

It's possible that it wasn't gender based but I doubt it as Phil (while technically working) wasn't busy either, but I also don't work for the company, the only reason I was there was I was sick and had no where else to be and to help with break down at the end. Joe is Military, Army I think, and is used to handing out orders and having people obey. Plus his wife was there and if he couldn't watch his own kids he should have sent them back to their mother.

He has his moments. And thinking about it he was doing the same thing to Allison over at Blackstone Models (they were sharing space with us.

*hugs* I know how you feel. Just had a dumbass neighbor pull that one on me just recently. Sometimes ya just gotta be a bitch babe, otherwise people will walk all over you if they think they can get away with things without you protesting about it.

Believe me the only reason I didn't say anything at the time is because I like Gary (the owner) and Chris (his wife) too much and respect them too much to cause drama while they were swamped. However if he tries it again I will say something to him. I did mention it to Joe's wife when we talked though.
