Between the series of snow storms and a week of nasty head cold, I haven't been to the gym in over a week. That's changing NOW.

The remodeling continues. No, I'm not kidding.
Been hitting the gym seriously and beginning to show improvements.
Nothing new on the diabetes, which is good.

How are things with you?

I'm pretty much recovered from my surgery. I think it's time to head back to the gym and see if I can find the 20+ pounds of lean muscle mass that I lost. Why is it that my body can't cannibilize the fat, instead of the muscle ( Read more... )

Came into some money. Paid off some bills. Trying to get rid of the fat I accumulated over the winter while improving my conditioning. Looking for the next job while gearing up for the summer and the hermit crab racing season. Life is relatively drama-free right now, but I'm sure that will change soon enough. Both my team and my gf's team are out of the playoffs! I may still watch the Superbowl, but I won't be invested in it. Time to put football aside (not that I'm a rabid fan anyway) and start focusing on the changes I'm planning for this year.

I have acquired the equipment necessary to deep-fry a turkey and have done so on several occasions. The turkey was moist, delicious, and cooked in about 45 minutes.
