*snickers* i used to have to go to my cousin's recitals when she was like...5? all up there in a tutu, twirling around like only a 5 year-old can, to awful, redone Christmas music. i brought my CD player(wow, that long ago?), and i seem to recall a Nintendo SP, though i may be mixing up her recitals and my CC graduation...(i played my SP and listened to my mp3 player the whole time, except, of course, while i walked across the stage, and while my brother walked across. i'm all, *cheer! play games*)
Hee hee! I know what you mean, but I tend to listen to the performances anyway. I mean, they're bad, but most of them are at least trying. (Some of 'em phone it in, but oh well.)
And yet somehow, back in the day, we still found magic in that town. I remember having many mystical experiences there, so to me, it's not yuppie town.
Then again I probably would explode if you brought me near them. Maybe Steph knew that somehow. LOL!
