Although we're almost half way through February already I never really feel like the New Year has ticked over until I start school again. That said, this time last year I didn't think that I would still be in school this year, I wanted to start working. However, the 'trendy crisis' (GFC) got in the way of that with all of my graduate program

Glad to hear about the journey you've been on to work out what you want to do :) this is a wierd time of our lives, and it's always odd to finally realise that what you *thought* was your first choice is maybe not what you want after all...

Good luck with honours! I'm really excited for you, and same goes for the tutoring! I'm very jealous about the salsa classes (do you get to wear pretty dresses?)

I hope you have a tonne of fun in Japan! I'm sure you will :)

It has been an odd year all around, I agree.

No pretty dresses in salsa at the moment, the classes are quite unglamorous as the space where we practice gets quite hot even in winter. But the social nights are very glamorous, loads of fun and everyone is quite friendly and not at all competitive. It's also a fantastic form of exercise.
