Regardless of the fact that I have an exam on Wednesday, we bought House Season 1 on DVD this weekend. Holy shit. Holy SHIT. This is hands down one of the best TV shows ever - it is so much more intelligent than anything else on TV right now. Witty, intellectual banter and deep emotional honesty. Oh my. I've recently become addicted to this show. And now you had to go mention the S1 boxed set... There goes part of my next paycheck.

You know about the reruns on USA on Friday nights? The boxed set is really great and only 44.... so definitely doable, and absolutely worth it! Glad to hear I'm not alone in my addiction...

Yeah, I just started watching it with that big two-parter back around the Super Bowl. I had been really addicted to Grey's Anatomy (which I still watch), but after a few weeks of House, I got *totally* obsessed with it. Way better than Grey's Anatomy. And of course I sit there trying to figure everything out-- I was so proud of myself the other week when they had the lesbian girl and were going over her symptoms and I thought to myself "Leptospirosis", which it wasn't, but then Cameron suggested it and I felt all smart. Haha... me and my vet medicine. I'm such a dork.

I'll have to make sure to set my DVR to record the re-runs on USA... until I get my boxed set.

My Mom mailed the video tapes of the first half of Season 2...yesterday some of the other exchange students and I cracked them out and watched three episodes. God, I love this show. It's probably the only show that I have watched religiously, and it's been killing me that I haven't been able to see it while I have been in Japan. Mom said she'd mail me the second half of the Season in a few weeks (whenever it finishes, I guess.) Yay!

And yesterday when we were watching, I saw the advertisement for the first season on DVD...it's definitely going on my birthday wish list!
