Bastille Day rained out

Seriously, what is it with the weather out to get us this year! I had a snow dump the week of my Feb Fete and a record-breaking heat wave for my June picnic. I'm almost afriad to plan anymore costuming events this year!

Nice to know I'm not the only one though... I was begining to think it was just me!

I figure, it can't possibly happen 3 times in a row! I was talking to Victoria, and how about we plan a day in Historic Philadelphia...hit Independence Hall, Constitution Center, Liberty Bell, and have lunch at historic City Tavern...all in 18th c. costume.

That sounds like fun! Depends on when you want to do it though (and whether a portion of your floor is available for out-of-town girls to crash on :>) - my summer is kinda whack!

They're still having it, but the rain has kept me away. The rain has slowed to a yucky misting, but more is expected throughout the day. There would be no where to sit, since the sidewalks are wet and gross at this point. There are no chairs or benches for the public around that area.

You should come to the proposed Historic Philadelphia day this Fall!

That sounds like fun. I haven't seen the constitution center yet.

How frustrating!

I like your third time the charm theory--that would be so fun!
