Steampunk Worlds Fair 2010 cont'd yet again

We're up to Saturday night! Time to change into the Steampunk Madame gown from the infamous Great Dress Rescue of 2010. This dress was directly inspired by a drawing that Beth found online. I had some red and black poly taffeta that I thought would be great for this project, and so it was.

Went to breakfast Saturday morning with blackcat452 in our Victorian frillies (well, not J of course. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt). Loaded up on eggs and bacon to prepare for the day...mmmmm! We arrived at the Embassy Suites around 2:30pm and were able to do early check in. Our room was wonderful! We love suites because we have so much crap at costume events, and it's easy to have friends over for drinks.
