Oh darling heart, I did the same thing with Austin just a few months ago. Granted, Austin's a lot closer than Japan. My advice would be to stick it out a little longer, see if it doesn't get better. Unless it's really just killing you, and then good lord honey, get back as soon as you can. Basically what I'm saying is I'll support any decision you make, you're a smart girl, and I love you.

Hey, is here any way you can be transferred to a better area? I thought NOVA did transfers, but maybe I was mistaken. I am loving life in Tokyo, and I bet if you could get put here things would vastly improve.

Marie, it makes me so sad to see you talk like that T_T Believe me, I PROMISE you, I know how that feels-- its exactly like I felt when I first got to Gaidai. And that feeling lasted a long time, but it did go away. Hopefully it will go away for you too. Hopefully, you will know whether it is going to get better by the time you have saved up that amount of money.
But since you're going to be there in April for at least a short time, I will do my best to entertain you ^o^\m/

Hey Marie,
I think you are making the right decision. If your living conditions suck, and if you can't make any relations with people or your students, then those are two very valid reasons to quit. You're a college graduate that deserves so much more. I hope you find something/someone to salvage your sense of mind before you make it back to the USA!
