Willie and I are gonna own a house! Our offer was accepted over several others, even though we offered the listed price and nothing else special (well, closing on Dec 15th and already having financing was good, but not special). We think maybe it was because we wanted to live there, not rent or re-build, and it had been a long time family home

it's in the skyway area (where southeast seattle almost meets Renton) but actually in Seattle. Figuring my best route to the ferry will be a fun challenge :)
